mine is 81 RR now

plates do make money thats for sure i have made a killing on mine if i want to sell now

car related plates are great when you own the car or bike they are on

a xxx bug plate wont look that great if you buy a golf or other car but if you paid next to nothing for the plat its best to let it go with the car

car bike related plates i have had

VWW 891 was on a 1303 vert £600 with paperwork
R5 GSF Suzuki GSF bandit £125 with paperwork
F8 BUG was on my NB £600 with paperwork

letters for your name are a better option i think

Yeah, but you have a Bug... so perfect for the car. If you were looking at a plate as an investment, DUB has a greater market than BUG, but I think BUG is a good buy as even a non enthusiast would look at buying BUG for theirs, but you'd have to know what DUB was...

Keith, no need to shout

If you are looking to sell your plate, why not place an add in the for sale forums... an idea of price is appreciated, otherwise you'll get loads of 'timewasters' offering daft prices...
